About the role

Sitewide is looking for experienced Structural Metal Fitters to join our crews on large industrial and energy projects across Texas. You will fabricate, fit and install structural steel to drawings and specification, working alongside welders, riggers and supervisors to keep the job safe, accurate and on schedule.

What you will do

• Read and interpret structural drawings, fabrication details and weld symbols.
• Measure, cut, fit and align beams, columns, bracing and platforms to tolerance.
• Tack and prepare joints for welding and support the welding crew.
• Work to the site safety plan, permit system and toolbox briefings every shift.
• Keep your work area, tools and equipment in good order.

What we look for

• Proven experience fitting structural steel on industrial, petrochemical or energy sites.
• Confidence with rigging signals, hand tools and layout equipment.
• A strong safety record and the discipline to work to procedure.
• Willingness to travel and work rotational schedules where the project requires it.
